    Resistance Welding Electrodes

Electrodes made of pure tungsten, tungsten alloys, molybdenum and electrodes with tungsten or molybdenum inserts. High electrical conductivity with excellent stability at elevated temperatures — significantly longer service life than conventional materials (copper and copper alloys).

    Electrode selection by material

    • •Uncoated steel → CuCrZr/W
    • •Stainless steel → CuCrZr/WCu
    • •Coated steel → CuCrZr/Mo/W/WCu
    • •Pure copper → Mo/W/WCu
    • •Brass (CuZn) / Bronze (CuSn) → CuCrZr/Mo/W/WCu
    • •Other copper alloys → CuCrZr/Mo/W/WCu
    • •Non-ferrous metals (Al, Mg, Ni, Ti) → CuCrZr/Mo/W/WCu
    • •Precious metals (Ag, Au, Pt) → CuCrZr/Mo/W/WCu
    • •Refractory metals (Mo, Ta, Cr) → W
